Relief Print on Irish Linen
This original design was inspired by the landscape of Belfast Lough, County Down, Northern Ireland. This little dog was spotted on Ballyholme beach. His shiny harness caught my eye. The image is cut directly into a salvaged black or white floor tile from the recent refurbishment of the great hall at The National Trust's Mount Stewart property, and printed onto pale grey Irish linen with inks in the shades of "warm red" and "madder rose". The print is titled and signed in pencil.
